About me
I spent ten years in academia, teaching and supervising bachelor's, master's and PhD students, then ten years building products and leading engineering teams at US tech companies. Along the way I've managed teams, facilitated empathy circles and mentored people young and old.
My coaching grows out of that experience: direct and peer-level. Many of my clients are engineers, founders and intellectuals, and value talking to someone who knows their world from the inside.
How I work
Change is a byproduct of embracing a new identity and leaving an old one behind. My clients usually have an ambition they don't yet believe they deserve, or haven't yet noticed that their values and needs would be better served by a different shape of life.
I help by asking the right questions, challenging false beliefs about themselves and the world, and helping them discover and strengthen the traits, values and needs that define the person they want to become. Most of the time I don't need to show them the path after that; they figure it out.

I work across EU daytime and US mornings, in English and Dutch. In-person intensives available; company covers travel. I work with founders, executives and high-agency professionals in tech, infrastructure, services and other knowledge work.
